My colleagues and I at The Right Question Institute are energized and inspired by the great work of educators who are using the Question Formulation Technique (QFT) all around the world to stimulate student curiosity, to promote deeper learning, and to help students build a democratic habit of mind by asking questions. Question Week, which began on Sunday, March 12 and ends on Saturday, March 18th, is an annual weeklong event that celebrates curiosity. It is also a chance to honor educators who are cultivating classrooms where all students are doing rigorous work and thinking with their own questions. Below is a sample of how educators celebrated Question Week, including facilitating the QFT with their students, brainstorming Question Focus ideas, and sharing insight into how the QFT can impact teaching and learning.
