We are excited to announce Question Week 2016. This week-long event, from March 13th until March 19th (scheduled to coincide with Einstein’s birthday on March 14th), is being organized by Question Week’s founding partners Warren Berger, author of “A More Beautiful Question,” and the Right Question Institute, as well as other organizations that champion questioning.
Here’s how it works: During Question Week, schools and classrooms across the U.S. will conduct questioning exercises or activities with students, sharing the results on social media.
We are hoping that you will plan to use The Question Formulation Technique (QFT) and share your experience during Question Week. We invite you to share:
- Pictures of student work
- The Question Focus you used
- How students’ questions were used
- Your thoughts and observations about the QFT
- Anything else that might highlight the importance of students being able to generate their own questions!
You can also share examples from previous QFTs you have facilitated in your classroom.
Tweet us (@RightQuestion) or email us (contact@v1.rightquestion.org). Be sure to use the hashtag #QuestionWeek and join the conversation!
We invite everyone to visit the Question Week site to learn more about the event. Please spread the word about Question Week, and we look forward to seeing the great work you have done with the QFT!
